Koolbardi the magpie and Wardong the crow are very proud, vain, jealous brothers. Their cunning, rivalry and one-upmanship brings them unstuck in spectacular fashion. Journey back to the Nyittiny, the time of Creation, where love, loyalty, betrayal, and jealousy are all stretched to their limits.

HERstory Exhibition Opening
MC Dean Misdale opens the HERstory exhibition in the Red Earth Arts Precinct Foyer. This art exhibition focuses on the evolution of the arts for feminine social and emotional wellbeing, and features works by Jamie Lee Garner, Rise Beyond the Reef, and Tania Nguyen of Bonny V.
Voices of the Pilbara
Weave yourself in the vibrant tapestry of sound and spirit at our Kirtan singing circle workshop, where we will chant, learn and sing the names of our beautiful native Australian flowers.
Sun Runners An Interactive Installation - CANCELLED
Get ready for the most daring, dangerous, heart-stopping race in the universe - the Sun Run, a lap of the entire solar system and around the sun. Plunge headfirst into an immersive space adventure. With a pair of headphones and a mobile device, you become a Sun Runner, hurtling across the farthest reaches of the solar system in the race of your life.
Plants of the Pilbara Workshop (PM)
Drop in and create your own giant paper flower inspired by the installation! Participants will have access to drawn diagrams and materials as well as artist guidance from the Jotterbook Flowers Team. In about 20 minutes, you’ll have your own paper sculpture to add to the installation or take home.
Silent Story Time
This unique opportunity is perfect for both children and adults! Participate in a fun and free interactive session of Karratha Library’s Silent Story Time. Chuck on a headset and get ready for a relaxing session of mindfulness and carefully curated stories.

Plants of the Pilbara
Plants of the Pilbara is an immersive, 5-dimensional art installation by sculptor Carrissa Wu (aka Jotterbook Flowers) and perfumer-musician Ousogene Yeo. Viewers are invited to experience the magic of Western Australia’s native flora on a larger-than-life scale.
