Born Aboriginal in Australia, adopted by a white UK family, raised in England. Inspired by actual events, The Other Side of Me is an aching dance duet of a man’s struggle with identity, loss and otherness and the redemptive beauty of singing his spirit home.

Voices of the Pilbara

Watch as your drawings leap to life, off the page and onto the stage! Come along and explore the world of shadow puppetry with an experienced puppeteer, Jenny Ellis. This hands-on workshop will give children a range of skills to make their own shows and as well as a puppet they can take home.

Sun Runners An Interactive Installation - CANCELLED
Get ready for the most daring, dangerous, heart-stopping race in the universe - the Sun Run, a lap of the entire solar system and around the sun. Plunge headfirst into an immersive space adventure. With a pair of headphones and a mobile device, you become a Sun Runner, hurtling across the farthest reaches of the solar system in the race of your life.
Plants of the Pilbara Workshop (PM)
Drop in and create your own giant paper flower inspired by the installation! Participants will have access to drawn diagrams and materials as well as artist guidance from the Jotterbook Flowers Team. In about 20 minutes, you’ll have your own paper sculpture to add to the installation or take home.

Plants of the Pilbara is an immersive, 5-dimensional art installation by sculptor Carrissa Wu (aka Jotterbook Flowers) and perfumer-musician Ousogene Yeo. Viewers are invited to experience the magic of Western Australia’s native flora on a larger-than-life scale.
