Join us as we kick off the 2021 Red Earth Arts Festival in style! Large-scale outdoor performance String Symphony sets the mood, performing two shows at 6.30 and 8.00pm. The cute but very functional mobile recording booth The Chin Wagon will be there to have a yarn and capture your stories and passions for the new year.

Interactive installation New Bayswater Post is opening up shop, taking you on a journey across this eccentric micronation (no, really). Our festival hub The HeArt will have a boutique selection of drinks to keep you cool and tasty food vendors onsite to satisfy your hunger, plus the odd surprise or two!

VENUE: Red Earth Arts Precinct Amphitheatre
WHEN: FRI 12 March, 6 - 10pm

The HeArt is exactly that: the beating heart and central hub of our festival. It’s an information point, a spot to relax, reflect and unwind. It’s the place to meet a friend pre or post-show. It’s a place where you can just be.

It will feature a pop-up bar with style, and a small stage that’s hosting a range of both local and visiting acts. From explorations of the literary process, contemporary dance to comedic cabarets such as Sad Dad (Wednesday 17th March at 6pm), there will be something for everyone.
